Logical Depth's LDhmmer package consists of accelerated replacements
for the computationally expensive hmmsearch and hmmpfam programs in
HMMER.
LDhmmer can offer better price/performance and flexibility than
specialized hardware because LDhmmsearch and LDhmmpfam are an order
of magnitude faster than standard hmmsearch and hmmpfam.
